Personal Service from an Owner You Can Trust

Chris McKenna, Owner - When you call Crestwood Tree Service, you're dealing directly with the owner at all times. No middlemen, no confusion about who's in charge of your project.

We specialize in small jobs and unusual jobs - the kind that larger tree services often turn down or don't have time for. Whether it's a tight backyard where bucket trucks can't go, a private estate with a winding driveway, or simply a small tree that needs removal, we're here to help.

Working primarily alone, we take pride in providing prompt service with thorough cleanup. Weekend work is available to fit your schedule, and if you're home at the time of the estimate, it may be possible to do the work right then upon your approval.

Company name is clearly displayed on all vehicles. As a non-smoker, you'll never find cigarette butts left on your property.

How to Choose a Tree Service

With nearly 100 tree services in the St. Louis area, here's what to consider

1. Location of the Tree

If it's in the backyard or somewhere a bucket truck can't reach, call Crestwood Tree Service for a bid.

2. Size of the Job

We specialize in trees up to 18" diameter. If it's larger, one of the bigger tree services might be a better fit.

3. Insurance Protection

Always ask for a Certificate of Insurance showing Tree Service Liability coverage. Don't hesitate to call the agent to verify the policy is still in force. Cheaper now isn't always better later.

4. Meet the Owner

With Crestwood Tree Service, you deal directly with the owner at all times. You'll know exactly who is working on your property.

5. Your Driveway

Our Ford E250 van, F250 pickup, and small 6" chipper won't damage your driveway like heavy trucks and large chippers can.

6. Parking & Access

Do you have a long winding driveway, live on a cul-de-sac, or have limited parking? If a large truck towing a chipper couldn't turn around, call us.

7. The Written Estimate

Is it specifically and clearly worded? It's a legal document that should be written with care and professionalism.

8. Discount Options

We offer discounts for keeping your own firewood logs or chips. Options to save money by doing part of the work yourself.

9. Seasonal Pricing

Consider having work done between November and early March when weather permits - this is the slow season and you may get a better price.

10. Customer Satisfaction

We never ask for payment until you're happy with the work. Don't pay others in advance - too often they'll stop before the work is finished.
